Muswell Hill & Crouch End Times Club correction
In our January 4 edition, we printed an article which said that North Middlesex Sports Club had applied for planning permission for a 450-seat banqueting hall and had built a 120-seat restaurant.
This information, which was printed in good faith and came from Lynne Featherstone MP's office, was incorrect. No such planning permission has been requested. We apologise for this mistake and any offence this may have caused.

Cricket club meeting to win back fans
The managing director of North Middlesex Cricket Club will host a public meeting next week in a bid to bring the community back on side.
Since Stephen Young bought the club last February it has been faced with much criticism, something which he believes is unwarranted.
He said: "We are a sports club and we have no other intention but to provide the best facilities we can for the community."
The meeting is due to take place on January 25, from 6.30pm until 8.30pm at the club in Park Road, Crouch End.

Club is all for sport but lacks any talk
A refurbished sports club is looking forward to a gala opening - but has been criticised for failing to work with the community.
North Middlesex Sports Club, in Park Road, Crouch End, has undergone more than £300,000 worth of work since September.
The work has included the creation of a bar and pavilion, 120-seat restaurant, and improvements to surfacing on the cricket pitches and car parks.
The club, which has three cricket teams in the Middlesex County League, also has a tennis club and plans for all-weather football pitches.
Managing director Stephen Young, part of a consortium which paid £1.2 million for the site in August, said he wanted to work with the community.
He said: "I am over the moon with how the sports club looks - we are trying to create something that will be beneficial to the community.
"But at the end of the day we have shareholders and still have to make money so we want the community to support us."
The sports club has an application, to be heard by Haringey Council, for a 450-seat banqueting hall and further plans for expansion.
Mr Young, 52, said he hoped to invite a representative of the council to officially open the club, which has about 450 members.
But Hornsey and Wood Green MP Lynne Featherstone said: "This will totally change the character of the area, and bring in huge numbers of people, with the traffic, disruption and noise that goes with it.
"The owners need to work closer with, and listen to the concerns of people about what is happening."
Fellow Lib Dem, Councillor Jonathan Block, added: "I have heard of no record of them (the club's owners) working with the community.
"I am not aware of them contacting local councillors and community members and I would encourage them to do that so we can move forward."
Residents had earlier formed an action group against the proposals, called the Combined Residents' Action Group (CRAG), which spoke out against the plans at a council meeting and members had also written letters of opposition.
But resident Bob Glover, 69, of Park Road, said it was a fantastic addition' to the community and should be supported.
He said: "I know people have concerns but it is better than what it was before and I believe it will be a success and should be supported."
